The company was founded in the 1960s in Duisburg Rheinhausen as Reglerbau Herpertz GmbH, was renamed Regler + Armaturen Rippstein GmbH in the mid-1970s and was re-established in 1987 as Regler + Armaturen Terschüren GmbH. From 2014, the controller production division will operate under the name W2 Armaturen GmbH.
The activities of Allo Mess- und Regeltechnik GmbH were acquired in 2005. The activities of Scheer Regler were taken over in 2011.
Since the company was founded, the focus of its business activities has been on the development and design of customer-specific solutions and their complete manufacture in its own production facilities.
